Herbal Crafting
My interest in herbal crafting began with a great love for Aromatherapy. It was a natural extension to begin making body care products using herbs and natural ingredients.
I am still a beginner, but I have a great love for the materials and I approach the craft with strong intuition and an artistic inclination, tempered by a dose of science when necessary. These recipes are pretty well my own, but I don't claim total credit for them. I haven't reinvented the wheel or anything. Many of them are modifications to processes, ingredients, etc. to recipes that I've found in all of my research. In some cases, I consider my primary contribution to be combining knowledge from various sources and writing it out as a cohesive process.
These recipes are all written with the beginner in mind. One of my frustrations as I was starting out was that many people took knowledge of processes for granted, and I've tried to be more complete in my instructions. I'm quite verbose, but I'd rather provide too much information than too little. People with experience in this type of crafting will probably skip over a lot of the text. Please don't be intimidated by the amount of information in the recipes, though. The text is meant to clarify the process, thus simplyfing it.
On to the recipes!
